Hi Michele,

I have had the most amazing experience taking the CISCO CCNA Routing & Switching course at PC AGE Career Institute. The classroom instruction and hands-on lab simulations compare second to none. The classroom led instruction by Drew and mentorship thoroughly prepared me to become both CISCO Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT) and CISCO Certified Network Associate Routing & Switching (CCNA R&S) certified. I am very satisfied with my future prospects in the field of Information Technology due the instruction I received from PC AGE Career Institute and continued support even after fulfilling certification requirements.”

Hi Michele,

The job is going great! They promoted me to a supervisor position in roughly 6 months. They are very happy with my work ethic and skills. I am very thankful for the schooling from PC AGE. It’s really helping and fun to see the things I learned in a real world situation.

My current title is Lead Integration Configuration Technician. The fact that I was able to start school in September 2013 and have a full time job in my field by April 2015 is incredible in my eyes. There are kids that I graduated high school with who are either still in school, with no job, or graduated and still have no job.

I am very happy with the path I decided to take and PC AGE has helped me beyond the technical skills aspect. From my resume to having the interview experience at the end, along with the career workshop, was awesome.

Good evening Humberto,

I’m sorry that I have been out of touch all these years. I just wanted to take this time to let you know what a major impact you made on my life. I greatly appreciate the lessons you taught. I know that I was not the ideal student, but you were probably the greatest teacher I’ve ever had. I know you have had countless students pass through your doors, but I would just like you to know that I am doing well thanks to you helping me find a sense of direction. What I learned professionally from you can be measured, but what I learned about life from you cannot. I will always be eternally grateful to you. Thank you. All the best

Hello Michele,

I wanted to thank you for all your help. You’ve been invaluable in my career and you really do a service to the students at PC Age. I got a job! It’s with the technology consulting team at Citrin Cooperman in Manhattan. I start on the 3rd and I’m really excited. Great company with tons of potential and a huge client base. It’s an IT support analyst role at 55k including benefits on first day. Thanks again!

Hi Michele,

I received your message and thanks for the heads up. I actually left ADPC, Inc. last month and started a new job as a Network Administrator in Long Island, NY for the Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry. It is a great opportunity that I am excited about. It’s a union job, with fantastic benefits, so I can definitely see myself being here for a really long time (God willing). Other than that, everything has been fine on my end. Hope all is well with you.

Hello Arifa,

You may not remember me, but I graduated PC AGE in June 2010. My teacher was Drew Peruzzi. PC AGE was the best thing that happened to me and I recommend it every time someone talks about going to a tech school or choosing PC AGE versus another school.

The price of tuition is worth every penny. I was able to transfer 39 college credits to Thomas Edison State University. With those credits, I was able to finish my A.A.S in Computer Studies. I then transferred all 60 credits to Western Governors University (WGU) for a Bachelors degree. I graduated from WGU in September 2014 with my Bachelors of Science in Information Technology achieving my official lifelong dream! As I think back now, I know I could not have had such opportunities to finish school if it were not for PC AGE. PC AGE credits went a long way helping me speed up my time to complete my Bachelors

As I work at different sites, I come across plenty of Network Engineers who went to PC AGE. Your school is incredible with the knowledge I learned supporting Microsoft Servers and how I apply it at my current job. Performing all of those labs over and over again stuck with me.

Just want to thank you and your staff for everything and keep up the good work!

Good Morning Nadia,

I had a final interview yesterday with eMazzanti Technologies in Hoboken and everything went great. I was offered the job as a Network Technical Support Specialist making way more than I hoped for! I will definitely go for it! This is a break thru in my career and I will start on July 20, 2015. If it wasn’t for all the hard work you did to help me, I would have never found out about this position. Thank you very much for the job search assistance. It really paid off!

Hi Michele, sorry about rushing off the phone the other day, but that call I was waiting for came through and I got hired – over the phone! Without a face-to-face interview! It had to be your excellent resume! The company is Corsica Tech in New York for a three month contract at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. I am a help desk tech. Many of the techs in our department started with three month contracts and haven’t left the hospital working for Corsica. I like it. Is it this easy for everyone?

I want to say thanks for everything and ask if I can call on you guys if I need to. Once again, thank you and everyone involved!

Forever in your debt,

Nii Ankrah Bruce-Vanderpuije

At my time at PCAGE I’ve learned more then I could’ve imagined through lectures from great teachers to hands on experience of many operating systems and hardware. My time at PCAGE was informative and opened up many doors for me. At first I was hesitant to attend, being that I had only a limited amount of knowledge about computers. Though I was forewarned about the workload and the fast-pace class structure, I accepted the challenge.

This school helps you on your path to being an IT Professional from Beginner to Advanced in a short period of time. After finishing high school I went straight to PCAGE and it was one of the best decisions of my LIFE. As soon as I finished Career Services worked with me and I landed a job in no time.

A big THANK YOU to the amazing staff and Instructors that helped me throughout my time at PCAGE for a fun, friendly, enjoyable learning experience. I’d highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to start a career in IT, or anyone looking for that extra boost in their IT career.

Hi guys,

I hope everyone is doing well. I want to thank all of you for all your help. You somehow turned a college drop out into an IT professional and in just a remarkable two months I got the job I wanted.

I will be working for a company called CenturyLink Technology Solutions. The job location is in a data center just minutes away from school in the Harborside Financial Center. I will be part of a team that provides support specifically to Bank of America’s equipment.

I went into the interview feeling the job was too big for me, but before I left the interviewer actually told me I was the front runner for the position. I couldn’t believe it and I couldn’t have done it without PC Age.

Thank You So Much,

Leah Chege

After high school I attended a college in my home country Nairobi, Kenya where I earned an equivalent of an American Associates Degree in Computer Hardware Maintenance. A couple years later, I came to the United States to further my education and I changed my career path to health care (as most of my family members and friends were doing and had advised me). I worked in the health care industry for five years. I liked it but deep down I knew it wasn’t the career path for me.

Last year in 2012 I decided to go back to college and finish what I hd started. I was living in Florida and tried to find an accelerated IT program, but I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. I researched online and checked schools in New Jersey and PC Age Career Institute immediately caught my attention with their program in Internetwork Engineering. I immediately made plans and moved to New Jersey within a month and enrolled in August 2012.

It hasn’t been an easy course, but with hard work and perseverance, I was able to always score high in almost all my tests with an average GPA of 3.85 and certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft. Also being the only female in most of my classes was challenging but that did not stop or slow me down. I knew I had to do this for myself.

A couple months before my graduation, I started working with Career Services at PC Age and this department has the most amazing individuals at this school. I was privileged to work with Ms. Nadia and Ms. Michele from fixing my resume, learning interview skills and job placement. Ms. Nadia and Ms. Michele were relentlessly in working with me in job placement, forwarding my resume to many companies, and sending me job openings for me to apply and get job interviews. My breakthrough came after Ms. Michele was able to get me into an interview with Verizon. I was among hundreds of candidates that did their entry exams and I passed. If it wasn’t for the training I got from PC Age Career Institute, I would not have been among the very few candidates that passed. Two weeks before my graduation, I got a very good job offer with great benefits to work at Verizon as a Help Desk Support Technician. I would recommend PC Age Career Institute as a Mom and a wife holding a part time job, I did it and so can you.

Thank you to all that made this happen, especially my instructors, Mr. Mohammed and Mr. Jorge Fleites, and Career Services Ms. Nadia and Ms. Michele, and Mr. Humberto for your professionalism and support.

Just wanted to take this time to thank Michele, Nadia, Humberto, and the rest of the staff at PC Age for all your help in finding me a great job. Since graduating in September 2012, you guys have gone the extra mile and bent over backwards in assisting me with finding employment. The university I graduated from where I earned my Bachelors degree didn’t even do that. Thank you so much again for going above and beyond my expectations.

I was just extended an offer from ADPC in Trenton as a Junior Network Administrator. I would like to sincerely thank you for all of your hard work and diligence. I would not have found this opportunity if it had not been for you submitting my resume to them. It has been a long and arduous journey for me, which often times left me extremely frustrated. However, in the end, patience was a key factor because this was exactly the role I was looking for, and the career path I wanted to be on, coming out of PC AGE. Thanks again.

Hello Michele, I hope everything is well with you.I am a PC Age alumni class of 2011, just dropping in to give you an update. I started working for RWJ Hospital in Hamilton in November 2011 and have recently began working for the Middletown Board of Education. Starting pay is $50K as a Computer Technician with 4 weeks paid vacation and many other perks. My schooling, certifications, and job experience were apparently what set me apart from all other candidates. Just wanted to share the good news and extend thanks again to the school’s program which has helped me to continue my success in the IT field. Thanks again for everything and enjoy!

Dear Zafar,

Hope this notes finds you well. You probably don’t remember me, but I took Novell training from you at PC Age 19 years ago. Since then, I’ve had a very successful career as a network engineer, and am now on my 5th year at Juniper Networks as a Sr. Systems Engineer. Now the next generation is about to start taking classes a PC Age. Right now my oldest son is on his way to your Metropark office to inquire about taking classes.

Thanks for the opportunity you provided to change career direction. It has served me and my family extremely well.

Best regards,
Mike McSpedon

My time at PC Age was truly enjoyable. As someone who worked in the Laborers Union his whole career, I was nervous about returning to school in order to pursue a career in computers. My experience with computers at the time was limited, but not as much as my lack of office experience. However, when I began my classes at PC AGE, I immediately felt at ease. The instructors were extremely personable and always willing to lend any extra help that was needed. I never felt embarrassed to ask a question and the instructor made sure to make him or herself clear before moving on. Each class built upon the previous class which made for a smooth and consistent learning experience. Every person I experienced at PC AGE, was very friendly and willing to help in any aspect they could. Even after I completed all the required classes, I had scheduled one-on-one appointments to write and revise my resume with an instructor who was aware of what potential employers were looking for in a candidate. Not only did PC AGE help with constructing my resume to my best advantage, they were also extremely diligent in assisting with job placement. As with most things, it is true and you get out what you put in. I put in a maximum effort at PC AGE and I believe they did the same for me. As a result, I am currently happily employed by a company that PC AGE set up an interview with. If I had it to do over again, I would indeed choose PC AGE.

Thanks to PC Age I was offered a great position at The Associated Press. The position is a Desktop Support Technician and has many responsibilities in many types of troubleshooting and installation.

PC Age taught me many things in computers that I did not know and now I use those skills in a real world environment. Without the one year hands on training I received at PC Age, I would be clueless with what I would do today as a Technician. PC Age has a great staff and also they will work with you to schedule class during the day or night. With very knowledgeable and experienced Microsoft Certified Trainers, they will show you the right direction to fixing the problem and helping you out. I had a great experience with PC Age and hope that this testimonial will help you with your career in Information Technology.

My last day of school at PC AGE was on a Thursday, and I went to work the next Monday. I am now a Network Engineer dealing mainly with municipal accounts. I am extremely grateful for the education I received at PC AGE because without it, I would not be qualified for my job….I would absolutely recommend PC AGE to anyone who is thinking about IT as a career.

I first heard about PC AGE when I saw an advertisement on the front of the Star Ledger. At the time, I was trying to decide where to go to get my IT technical education. I decided to call PC AGE and take a tour of the school. After seeing the classrooms, computers and meeting with some students to discuss the school, I decided that PC AGE was the place for me.

As I progressed through my courses, I realized how much I was learning. The material was comprehensive and the teachers were skilled. As a student who asks a lot of questions, I was happy knowing that they would always be answered. The courses seemed to fly by and before I knew it, I was at the end of my program.

The education that I got at PC AGE in Metropark prepared me to go to work in the field of Information Technology. The career services staff was extremely helpful with helping me get my resume together for applications and preparing me for interviews. After going on many interviews, I finally got hired.

I feel the need to convey to you my experience here at PC AGE. As imposing as that first sentence sounds, my impression with the learning environment was immense. It’s very hard to truly convey the impact that the courses here have had on me.

I can say that without a doubt I would not be in the position I am today without the aid of the instructors here. There has been nothing but positive attitudes and a friendly atmosphere since I first stepped in the door. The instructors have always been helpful and friendly in all ways, and have always been able to answer my esoteric questions.

In addition to my gratitude of being able to participate in this learning environment, I would like to commend the instructors, of which without there would be no school to go to. There are few people I know who are as prepared for a course as Manfred, few I know who are as interested as Will, and few who are as knowledgeable or enthusiastic as Drew.

Between myself and other students, we have had many conversations about our experiences at PC AGE. Among these many debates include the subject as to our favorite teacher. In these discussions I would keep my opinion to myself as not to play favorites or seem biased against one or another. I feel like I can admit here though that the teacher who has made the most impact on me was Drew.

I have had many different teachers throughout my time spent as a part of the student body in many different schools. I can say, without a doubt, that Andrew Peruzzi has had the biggest impact towards my learning experience at PC AGE, and is one of the best teachers I have had in my life. If not for him I would never have gotten interested in Cisco routers and would not have obtained my CCNA. I feel that I can recommend this school and this location in large part due to his influence on my learning experience.

Again, I would like to thank you for the chance to learn at this school and also to thank you for helping me start the rest of my life.
